My heart felt a thrill under fiesta stars

The night spoke of splendour
The lanterns were low
I had to surrender
The thrill seemed to grow
The music was playing
We danced until dawn
My thoughts began straying
And then she was gone

Tonight there's a stream somewhere in Mexico
Where lanterns that glow blend with the soft guitars
I wish I could dream again of Mexico
And still feel the thrill under fiesta stars
